Structure vs. Cover

"Our glossary of terms states:

‘STRUCTURE - the bottom of the lake with unusual features that distinguishes it from the surrounding bottom area.’ We must note the word BOTTOM. It is used not just one time in this sentence, it is used TWICE.

At no time did it say structure was a patch of weed, a dock, a fallen tree, a bush, a stump sticking up, etc.

That's because those are types of cover.

(Ive had that discussion with many, in fact....the last fellow ended our chat by referencing my age with an odd phrase..."I'll do what I always do, so shut up, you old @ss boomer f*ck!"

Let's face it - the industry has taught many wrong... and they prefer to wallow in their error instead of learning something that may help them....David)

The bottom of the lake (reservoir, stream, pond, etc.) was what it said, and what it meant.”
